Excursions

Early in the morning we depart by bus for Edipsos from where we board the ferry which will take us to the port of Arkitsa. We continue our trip to Piraeus, the port of Athens from where we start our trip to Aigina Island.

We will spend one hour at the monastery of Saint Nektarios and after that we will have 1.5 hours in the city of Aigina for lunch, coffee and a short walk.

Departure by bus in the morning and return in the evening.

We’ll arrive in the capital of Greece around 11.30, we’ll do the tour of the city and then we can have time to visit the museum or the Acropolis archeological site. We have at our disposal around 2.5 hours free time for lunch, shopping and photos. At 16.00-17.00 we meet in front of the Parliament, we’ll see the change of the guard and at 16.15-17.15 we board the bus to continue our trip back to Evia Island. (Aproximate hours depending on the ferry schedule for the return trip).

We depart in the morning by bus and take the ferryboat from Edipsos to Arkitsa. Our first stop will be the church of Saint Luca where we will spend 30 minutes. We continue our trip to the archeological site of Delphi for a 2 hour visit. On the way back we will stop for 30 minutesin the city of Arachova for a photo session and one hour to the city of Livadia for lunch.

First stop will be at the Istiaia bazaar for those who want to taste the local products and fruits or to do some shopping. We continue our trip to Orei for a short photo session at the statue “The Bull of Orei” and then we go to Edipsos for 3 hours of swimming in the thermal waters, a walk along the shore, lunch or shopping.

We invite you to spend a wonderful day on the beach of Ellinika, one of the most famous beaches on Evia Island. The sand, the clear blue waters and the wild nature will make this day unforgettable.

We leave in the morning by bus towards the capital of Evia Island, Halkida for a shopping session and time for a walk and coffee – 2.5 hours. Because from a day of vacations cannot miss the beach, we continue our trip to the beautiful sandy beach of Alykes – 2.5 hours. We return about 18.30 in the afternoon.

We leave by bus and we go straight to Agios Georgios where we board the boat. We do a mini-cruise around the islands, we will see a shipwreck 10m under the sea, the ruins of an old monastery and an old village and, if we are lucky, we’ll see a seals family. We will stay on the Lichadonisia beach around 3 hours and we will serve lunch. We’ll board the boat and after a 20min trip we arrive in Agios Georgios from where we take the bus back to our accommodation.

We depart by bus early in the morning for a one day trip to the most famous religious site in Greece: Meteora complex. We will have plenty of time to visit two of the most important monasteries, the icon factory and to admire the breathtaking view from the top of the rocks. Last stop we will make in the city of Kalambaka for lunch.

Any tourist who arrives in the Island of Evia has among his objectives to visit the Church of Saint John the Russian, situated in the village of Prokopi – we stop for 1h45min. Saint John the Russian is the protector of the ill and along the years there are numerous proofs of his miracles. Last stop will be at the Monastery of Saint David, a representative place for the Greek Christians, a monastery in the mountains, in a wonderful natural environment, where we can charge our spiritual batteries – 1h30min.

Departure by boat from the port of Pefki ( from  Edipsos we organise bus transfer ). One day cruise with 2.5 hours on the Koukounaries beach, the most beautiful beach on the island and 2.5 hours in the city of Skiathos for free time – coffee, shopping, a walk around the city.
